DescriptionWe are an audiology clinic in Toronto that takes a comprehensive approach to the treatment of audiological impairments for children, adults and seniors. AudioSense provides evidence-based clinical care. We take aproactive, rather than reactive, approach to audiology. Everything from the orange-coloured walls, the glass-enclosed sound booth, the cappuccinos we offer our patients, to the actual audiology services; our care is holistic, comprehensive and premium; but we do this at competitive prices relative to clinics in Toronto. Providing excellent services at affordable prices is key to meet our vision and goals. Our audiologists have mainly worked in hospitals in the past. We take a health-care approach to audiology. Every patient receives a complete battery of diagnostic hearing tests with state-of-the-art digital equipment. We value the importance of communicating patient results with Physicians to provide the best possible care. Our lead audiologist and owner has a Ph.D. in auditory neurophysiology and Cochlear Implants, and is very much involved in Academia with appointments at the University of Toronto and the University of Wester Ontario. Clinical decisions at AudioSense are therefore evidence-based and influenced by current research in the field. Our lead audiologist and owner is the President of the Canadian Academy of Audiology, an association with 700+ members. We have an intimate knowledge of clinical struggles that audiologists and patients face when dealing with Hearing and Balance services throughout the country. This allows us to have a unique perspective on audiology care.
